A thousand year anger!

India is an ancient country.

We have a history of 5000 years in record. Right from the day Vedas was written , to the writing of Constitution of Modern independent India.
Much has been changed , but there was something that was constant in all those 5000 years , and that was the hierarchy of Caste system.

Yes it was part of Sanatana Dharma, the Hindu way of life and it has survived with it to today. From Manu to Mayawati , this notion of Caste has seen so much.

And it is also true that it has lost its real intention somewhere in between , it is very correct notion in my opinion ; that it was never meant to be a Oppressive or suppressive system to ristrict some groups of people and to give sole right to some others, but it was made to simplify things, to simplify way of life .

But , if modern thinkers see it as Negativity as Hurdle to all round development and theory of equality, then it is also true that there must be some thing rotten in this system from day 1 that came stinging stinky after 5000 years.

Cast system is some of the rare  failures of our ancient forefathers.
They  were brilliant & extraordinary everywhere, ranging from Philosophy to Science to Astronomy to Astrology to Medicine to Constructions to Mathematics to Literature and upto Sex (Read Kamasutra & Khajuraho temple & Tantra).

They were all great in all those respect,  but one place where they terribly failed us is by enacting such a stinking system of division which has created such a deep divide in hearts of those who are hurt.

They must have foreseen it, they were such intelligent people , one simply can't understand how they failed to see that this system can turn against their own society.

The pain in hearts of our left out brothers and sisters is so deep and profound that even after giving Reservation and many many amenities since independence , it only increased.
It only increased as more and more of our brothers , to which we have wronged are awaking to the new order of equality and knowing their rights more and more .
And hence this collective pain and anger inside the heart against so called Upper cast is only but increasing.
And I think that for another 50 years or so, till last person in queue will awaken itself from fear and pain , this will continue.

This reservation which was proposed as a remedy, is itself became a problem where it started to take legitimate rights of those who have excellence. This logic that , you have to pay for wrong doing of ur ancestors is mindset of Colonial Era & is equivalent to racism's & is like Reeducation Camp and Concentration camp ideology of Hitler, where Jews were made to pay for their crimes their forefathers done against Germans in 1st world war.

I am not saying that giving reservation is wrong ,seeing lost opportunity of our left behind brothers , but it also doesn't seems right when seeing from the lens of modern law.

This is state of conflict this nation has landed itself into in. Its solution is part of a problem.

I have personally tried to talk many such brothers, who get benefit of this reservation system and asked them straightforward , why they think they should get such previlage and a more controversial question, that if they were asked to leave this reservation anyway ; then what they demand in return from state?

And response I got was shocking.
And mind u these were all very high educated people.

Almost all of them said almost same thing.
They first reminded me that they have suffered for 1000 years in hands of "upper cast" torchers, their many generation lost opportunity to develop and flourish in this land. And asked me that you upper cast got irritated in just 75 years of reservation era?
They remained me that they suffered thousands of years and why not you "upper cast" people should pay by 1000 year of reservation policy then that "may" think of leaving that!

When I pressed them to tell me one thing that they will take and leave this reservation , mostly said it is not possible.

On pushing further, many said that in that case they want their own country and do not wanted to live with "upper caste" people. They asked to divide India and it's wealth two peices. One for them, other for "Upper cast ".

In short, these talks made me realise the pain , anger and resentment in the hearts of our brothers. We must have done something terribly wrong.
We must have been terribly wrong somewhere , that our brothers feel such for us .
This is only 1 things where my great ancestors of this ancient great country failed us.

We all must try to heal wounded hearts , with love and care. If they need support we must give but in the same time state should increases seats in all courses to such a extent that impact of reservation nullifies. This is only short term solution. In next 50 years , we may be hopeful to heal wounded hearts and broken souls.

This is also another major reason for weaking if Hindu dharma as whole , and rise of conversions also. We Hindus should introspect ourselves. More so, so called " upper caste " people.

I have written this post, very honestly . it is not meant to hurt anyone. If any1 is hurted I ask for their forgiveness.
In the same time I would like criticisms and comments and if I am wrong anywhere plz feel free. Also as a descendent , I ask for forgiveness from my wronged brothers and sisters , who were pained by action of my ancestral society as whole.
